This doesn't even mention the guys who should be breaking double digits every game, but failed to, like Demaryius Thomas who only reached 6.0 pts because of a 2pt conversion. I hope the trend doesn't continue tonight when the Jets face the Bears. There are some important names competing tonight that could make the difference for this weeks standings and possibly the overall standings.

After only three weeks this has been by far the lowest scoring and I expect this trend to continue as we go into the first of many bye weeks. Now for some positives, I'd like to welcome Mike's Team and Stonecutters to the upper half of the weekly standings, and Dan's team is still sitting high above us all just barely missing 1st place with no one left to play tonight. Team Gordo and Lefty are staying competitive though as they aren't far behind Dan's Team in the league standings. Matter of fact Lefty could pass him if Chris Johnson surpasses 13 pts tonight. Team Juice could move up the standings as high as 7th.
I must say that drafting for a best ball (draft only) league is a very different breed of animal. From what I can surmise so far, you really need to make sure you draft a good balance of consistency and Boom/Bust to keep your weekly totals from varying too greatly. You want to make sure you balance out your bye weeks and injury prone only option picks; if you drafted DeMarco Murray don't also draft Ryan Mathews and Arian Foster. Also, no matter what league format you're in, injuries, suspensions, and duds will always plague every season in some capacity. All you can do is put in your best effort on draft day and enjoy the ride.
