Ziggy, Gordo, and Lefty have all been friends since attending college together. Ziggy and Lefty were both in the same fraternity with Gordo attending the fraternity right next door (they didn't like Gordo's fraternity). Their interest in sports (and football in particular) has kept them talking on a daily basis. Conversations between the three range from "where should this player land" to "why is Jacksonville even a team anymore?" This blog is an amalgamate of the conversations the three have on a nearly daily basis. Blog posts are transformed from conversation pieces to articles and posted for others to enjoy.
Lefty has been a New York Jets fan since the epic Monday Night Miracle against the Dolphins. The Vinny Testaverde pass to Jumbo Elliot remains one of the most significant passes in his short football watching career. Lefty has been playing fantasy football for years finishing first in several public group leagues. In a league with Ziggy and Gordo, Lefty's best finish has been second place - which he has done twice.
Gordo has been a Philadelphia Eagles fan for as long as he can remember. Gordo makes up for the lack of real world football trophies from the Eagles by attempting to make a collection of his own with Fantasy Football wins. In a league with Ziggy and Lefty, Gordo has won the league once and is usually in the top 4. He competes in several public leagues every year to improve his understanding of the game and applies his new found knowledge and understanding of drafts, trades, and player evaluation to competitive play.
Ziggy has been a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers since before Big Ben was raping defenseless women. Ziggy continues his real world teams winning legacy with fantasy football wins of his own. In a league with Gordo and Lefty, Ziggy has won twice and is competitive every single year. As the commissioner of the league, Ziggy is often very vocal in assessing trades, calming arguments, and ensuring communication, trade talk, free agency scouting and general trash talking doesn't die off all season long.
